CALIBRATION SERVICES

Calibration of equipment is done to determine efficiency and accuracy of measuring equipment. It is a comparison method whereby test values are compared with standard values.

To improve the quality of the calibration and have the results accepted by outside organizations it is desirable for the calibration and subsequent measurements to be “traceable” to the internationally defined measurements units.

Maintaining calibration frequency provides:

• Assurance that measurement tools are accurate over a period of time
• Identification of non-conformances that require resolution
• Extended lifecycle of equipment

Our Labs

Our Labs are accredited by Kenya National Accreditation Services after satisfying the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025(2017). (General Requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).

Our scope of accreditation is calibration in the fields of Temperature, Mass ( scale & Balance) and Pressure.

GSL also carries out calibration in volume and Force.

All our calibration standards are traceable to Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS). We are accredited by Kenya National Accreditation Services (KENAS).
